Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well. As the title of the post says, I really do need a break. My mental state hasn't been good for a while as I've been delaying it and drowning myself in work. Which was obviously a bad decision as it has caught up to me and affecting my willpower, motivation, energy to work.
On top of that, I've developed some sort of performance anxiety (roughly what my therapist said) where I've become afraid of... well performing. Recording audios. Posting anything, even this written post.
"What if I'm not a good enough audio creator" "I keep making mistakes" "It's been 3-4 years of doing this, why can't I get everything right" "Everyone must think I'm bad" "the analytics..."they can hear my bad attempts at voice acting"... The list goes on.
I know I shouldn't let bad/negative comments get to me but they always crept their way through my mind and has unfortunately won. Hence why I stopped reading comments and responding to dms very late, not only because of sexual harrassment but because I start shaking, my heartbeart significantly increases, I start sweating, scared I've made people disappointed with my acting, my audio, my work.
I took a break for most of November, so I could breathe and try to get better. But December has rolled around and I still can't do anything. I can't bring myself to do anything at all.
I'll be taking December and January off as well, which means no exclusive audios for both months. I'm really really sorry.
Next week's early access audios should be posted soon, as well as my previously planned Christmas collab audio which I will try to get done. I'm really sorry it got to this point. I hope to return in February with exclusive content again.
